Concordia Batch '25 Takes a Significant Step into the Industry at NDJC BSHM Pinning Ceremony

The Notre Dame of Jolo College (NDJC) – College of Accountancy, Management, and Computer Education (CAMCE) recently held its Annual Pinning Ceremony for the BS Hospitality Management (BSHM) interns, marking a significant milestone for Concordia Batch ’25 as they transition from academic life to their professional careers. The event took place on October 15, 2025, at the NDJC Smith Hall.

The ceremony began with the students receiving their pins from their guardians, symbolizing their entry into the hospitality industry. The event also featured performances by the students, including a tribute song and batch song, which entertained the audience. One of the newly acknowledged interns, Mr. Vaugnh-Ralphy Israel, delivered a heartfelt testimonial message on behalf of the batch.

The event also recognized the sacrifices and support of the parents, with Mrs. Delia Hoe sharing her experiences and congratulating the students on their achievement. Several speakers addressed the audience, including Fr. Ross B. Kapunan, OMI, MASRCE, College President, who delivered an inspirational message, Ms. Sherhana I. Musa, who opened the program, and Ms. Elieza S. Tusit, MBA, CHRA, Dean of CAMCE, who closed the event.

Ms. Elieza S. Tusit, MBA, CHRA, presented the nine BSHM students, and Fr. Ross B. Kapunan, OMI, MASRCE, accepted the interns, welcoming them into the industry. A certificate of appreciation was also given to Fr. Ross B. Kapunan, OMI, MASRCE, for his invaluable contribution to the event.

The Annual Pinning Ceremony highlighted the dedication and excellence of NDJC’s future hospitality professionals, embodying the college’s commitment to academic excellence and service-oriented leadership.
