NDJC Gives Tribute to Outgoing VP for Admin, Bro. Bobby Diana

In the afternoon warmth of the campus, NDJC conducted a surprise send-off party for the outgoing Vice President for Administration, Br. Roberto Angelo T. Diana, OMI, MBA, on July 2, 2024, at NDJC Covered Court.

The party commenced with Catholic and Muslim prayers, with Mr. Paul Banagudos as the master of the ceremony.

The College President, Fr. Eduardo M. Santoyo, OMI, Ph.D., set the tone for the event as he delivered the opening speech, highlighting the contributions and legacy of Bro. Diana for 10 years of dedication and passion of service.

Two videos were presented containing the people of NDJC extending their gratitude and honoring the kindness and dedication of Br. Diana, OMI.

The Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Raymond R. Delos Reyes, LPT, and the Vice President for Finance, Dr. Salvador S. Zacarias, CPA, LPT, expressed their appreciation for him and his accomplishments and milestones for NDJC through their respective messages.

To include fun in the event, a trivia game about Bro. Diana challenged the attendees. Prizes were given to the winners of the said games.

Afterwards, the Auxiliary and Non-Teaching Personnel, Mr. Ronilo Domen, Ms. Editha Abdulhakim, and Ms. Jevlyn Varquez gave their respective message of thanks, shared every experience and moment with him throughout the years of his service.

Furthermore, the newly appointed Office-in-Charge of the Vice President for Administration, Ms. Fatimatuzzahra A. Abdulmajid, RPm, delivered a speech with photo presentations of Bro. Diana in his journey to a decade of service at the NDJC.

Then, the attendees gave their respective gifts, symbolizing their love and appreciation for him.

Lastly, Br. Diana, OMI gave his message about his experience in Sulu and showed his thanks to the Tausugs, the administration and the entire NDJC community for the support and love for a decade of service.

The event concluded with a photo opportunity with Br. Diana, OMI and a dinner for all who were in attendance.

Indeed, the presence of Br. Diana, OMI will be missed by the people of the NDJC. However, his passion and hard work in serving for a decade would be forever engraved in the hearts of every Notre Damean.

Br. Bobby will be assigned as Director of the Notre Dame of Greater Manila in Caloocan City. With this appointment, he will in turn become a member of the Board of Trustees of Notre Dame of Jolo College.
