The Office of Student Affairs and Welfare of Notre Dame of Jolo College (NDJC) successfully conducted a three-day writeshop from July 22 to 24 at the NDJC Review Center, bringing together faculty and staff to strengthen institutional policies and student organization governance.

The first day centered on the revision of the institution’s Admission, Retention, and Termination Policies Manual. Participants reviewed existing provisions, evaluated current practices, and proposed amendments to ensure alignment with the College’s updated standards and objectives.

On the second day, discussions focused on revising the Honors and Awards Manual, covering both academic and non-academic recognitions. Faculty and staff examined and refined the official guidelines governing the conferment of awards to deserving students across various academic programs, clubs, and organizations.

The final day featured a Constitution and By-laws Writeshop, aimed at establishing a clear, consistent, and standardized framework for all recognized student organizations. The session was facilitated by Dr. Raymond R. Delos Reyes, LPT, who served as the resource speaker and guided participants through the principles of effective organizational governance.

The three-day program reflects NDJC’s continuing commitment to strengthening institutional policies, promoting student leadership and empowerment, and fostering a culture of excellence within the College community.
