The Notre Dame of Jolo College Senior High School (NDJC-SHS) transformed the Main Campus Covered Court into a vibrant battleground of ideas and talents on June 27, 2026, during its annual Grand Rally for aspiring student council leaders.

Two competing political parties took center stage in this year’s high-stakes campaign: Journey of Young Visionaries (JOY) and Visionary Initiative Serving and Aspiring Goals Effectively (VISAGE). Brimming with enthusiasm, both slates confidently presented their innovative platforms and distinct visions aimed at empowering the senior high school department.

The race for the top executive position drew intense attention from the student body as two seasoned leaders go head-to-head for Governor. Ms. Nor-Sheena D. Ynawat and Ms. Muzchawweda Mandangan are both vying for the highest leadership post, each bringing valuable experience and strong name recall from their previous terms in the council.

Beyond intense speeches and rigorous platform presentations, the rally lived up to its “grand” title. The two parties showcased a series of high-energy entertainment performances to captivate the crowd, featuring everything from dynamic dance routines to powerful vocal numbers.
