SDPC Holds Career Guidance for SHS Batch 2026

The Student Development and Placement Center (SDPC) of Notre Dame of Jolo College recently conducted a Career Guidance session for the Senior High School graduating class of 2026 on January 27, 2026, at NDJC Main Campus Covered Court.

The event, themed “Your Strand, Your Skills, Your Future,” aimed to equip students with the necessary insights to make informed decisions about their future careers.

The event began with registration and the release of the NDJCET results from SDPC conducted last year.

In a welcome message of SHS Principal Ms. Mary Queen Z. Loria, LPT, MAEd, she emphasized the importance of choosing a career path that aligns with one’s passion, skills, and strengths.

The morning session featured a Career Orientation and RIASEC Assessment, led by SDPC Director Ms. Noor Shaneen H. Askalani, RPm.

The afternoon session highlighted the students wearing of their dream profession to display their aspiration with their desired career path.

The inspiring session held in the afternoon featured four SHS alumni who shared their experiences and insights on navigating career choices.

The alumni speakers included Ms. Adzrina Madoh, RN from HE-CG; Engr. Ahmad Ridha Arani from STEM; Ms. Fatima Nur-Hannah Jannaral, RPm from GAS; and Ms. Fatima Marwa Fadzlulkarim, CPA from ABM.

The session included a “kamustahan” session and open forum, where students engaged with the alumni and sought advice on career-related matters.

The event concluded with the awarding of certificates to the alumni speakers and the announcement of the best-dressed students, Zyrenne Insani of STEM 12-C and Zukri Juhuri of GAS 12-D. The event ended with a group photo opportunity.
