The Notre Dame of Jolo College (NDJC) – College of Pharmacy and Medical Technology celebrated Pharmacy Day on December 6, 2025, with the theme “Resilience Unleashed: One Health, One Pharmacy – Bridging Science, Practice, and Education,” at the NDJC Main Campus Covered Court.
The day-long event began with a heartfelt morning assembly, featuring Muslim and Catholic prayers, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, the Notre Dame Hymn, and the Pharmacy Hymn. The excitement kicked off with the Pharmatagisan Competition and Pharmahiyawan Yell Competition, showcasing the students’ spirit and creativity.
A series of fun games ensued, including Paper Dance, Find Your Team, Tug of War, Bond and Conquer, and the Human Wheel Tank, with students actively participating and bonding. The morning culminated in a friendly basketball game between the students’ team and the alumni’s team.
The afternoon transformed into a stunning masquerade ball, with students and faculty donning elegant gowns and sharp suits. Highlights included a humorous and competitive Family Feud game between faculty and students, the suspenseful Pharma-raffles (Pharaffle), the search for Mr. and Ms. Golden Rx, a Pharma-Got Talent competition, and a video showcase of the Pharmacy Advocacy Video Competition entries.
Winners of the various competitions were recognized and awarded for their hard work. The event wrapped up with a fine dining experience, allowing everyone to savor the moment and celebrate the spirit of pharmacy together.
