Two student officers, Mr. Farhan Fadzlulkarim and Mr. Jacxen-Devo Tan, proudly represented Notre Dame of Jolo College at the 1st Outstanding Student Leaders of the Philippines and the 5th Student Affairs and Services (SAS) National Convention, held on October 1–3, 2025, in Baguio City.
The three-day gathering brought together student leaders and student affairs professionals from across the country to explore pressing issues in higher education, enhance leadership competencies, and exchange innovative practices in student services.
Throughout the convention, the MSG officers actively engaged in leadership forums, skills-based workshops, and policy discussions that tackled themes of transformative leadership, nation-building, and student welfare. They also participated in networking sessions that allowed them to connect with fellow leaders nationwide, fostering collaboration beyond institutional boundaries.
Representing NDJC with pride, Fadzlulkarim and Tan emphasized the significance of student government as a platform for service and empowerment. Their participation not only highlighted NDJC’s commitment to nurturing capable and socially responsible leaders but also strengthened the College’s presence in national student leadership initiatives.
The convention concluded with a renewed call for student leaders to lead with integrity, serve with compassion, and educate through example, values that resonate deeply with NDJC’s mission.
