Batch SANTATAG of the College of Liberal Arts and Criminal Justice Education Department commemorated 9th Pin and Badge Ceremony on September 26, 2025, at the Notre Dame of Jolo College Covered Court. This event was attended by administrators, invited guests, parents, and interns from Forensic Science and Criminology. It was made possible to honor the interns and their parents for their sacrifices and support.
The ceremony commenced with a processional of the SANTATAG Interns, together with their parents, administrators, guests, faculty, and staff. Subsequently, invocations were led by Sampang, Moh. Eidil Adzhan U. for the Muslims, and Elliorimo, Hazel Faye for the Christians. The entrance of MASIGLAHI Colour Officers followed before the opening remarks of Demapuro H. Sangkula.
The proclamation of interns was rendered by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mitchelle Angeli S. Tarsum, LPT, and CLACJE Dean, Ms. Nur-ain L. Sahibil. A message from the NDJC VPAA was heard prior to the imposition of pins and badges, also by the VPAA and CLACJE Dean. The CJE Intern Creed, led by Crim/Intern Isnain, Bin-naajy R., proceeded, followed by the Santatag tribute song.
Afterward, a parent’s response was delivered by Mrs. Hamsiliya P. Sala, following the inspirational message by Police Lieutenant Colonel Kris Conrad M. Gutierrez, who mentioned, “The badge you received is a testament to your commitment to uphold the principles of justice, ethics, and societal responsibility essential to the field of criminology.”
Words of gratitude were then conveyed by Crim/Intern Arraji, Albiden I., and FS/Intern Bahjin, Sheemalie J., in both emotional and humorous ways. The Santatag Interns performed their batch song following the closing remarks by Mr. Martin John J. Gonzalez.
The affair concluded with an early dinner prepared by the HM students. A video of the interns’ journey was shown, accompanied by the song “Saranggola” by Ben and Ben.
