NDJC Recognizes New Professionals from CLACJE

The Notre Dame of Jolo College celebrated the success of the College of Liberal Arts and Criminal Justice Education from the 49 newly registered criminologists and 4 newly registered pyschometricians through a motorcade in the town of Jolo and a recognition in NDJC covered court yesterday, September 5, 2024.

The success marked the history for NDJC and CLACJE as the registered criminologists made the school the third best performing school (for 51 to 100 examinee category) in the July-August 2024 Criminologist Licensure examination while the registered psychometricians made to the half of the national percentage in the August 2024 Psychometrician and Psychologist Licensure Examination.

The motorcade gave the board passers of the two programs an opportunity to honor their success and appreciate those who brought pride not just to NDJC but also to Sulu Province.

Afterwards, the event continued at the covered court with an usual preliminaries. Students from criminology, forensic science, and psychology programs were present along with the registered professionals and the College faculty members.

Ms. Nur-Ain Sahibal, MAIS, the Dean of the College of Liberal Art and Criminal Justice Education, set the tone of the event through her welcoming address of congratulatory to the registered professional of the College.

Then, Dr. Raymond R. De Los Reyes, Ph.D., the Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Ms. Fatimatuzzahra A. Abdulmajid, RPm, the Vice President for Administration and General Planning, delivered their messages, expressing their gratitude to the success of the board passers and their impacts to the school’s vision-mission.

Moreover, the certificates of recognition were distributed to the new professionals of the College, while Lyka Angela Atiolla, a first-year psychology student, dedicated a song to them.

Furthermore, three registered criminologists, Alhakir Alpapara, RCrim, Mohammad Ali Hashim, RCrim and Jommel Estino, RCrim, and a registered psychometrician, Genevie Malubay, RPm represented their fellow board passers to deliver their own testimonies of their experiences and inspirations with the positive outcome of their pursuits before the faculty members and the students.

Lastly, the Criminology Program Coordinator, Ms. Jonalyn K. Yap, RCrim, spoke about the journey of becoming a professional before the community singing of Notre Dame Hymn and photo opportunities among board passers, students, and faculty members.
