Batch Signum Perseverentiae Honors 5th White Coat Ceremony

Seventy-six (76) newly recognized student pharmacists, batch Signum Perseverentiae, received their respective white coats and nameplates during the 5th White Coat Ceremony on July 22, 2024, held at the NDJC covered court.
 
The ceremony commenced at 1:00pm in the afternoon with the processional of the candidates together with their parents, which was then followed by the invocation led by Al-Zhiebar Amlih for Muslims and Angelica Albesa for Christians, and the singing of the Philippine national anthem and Notre Dame hymn.
 
Consecutively, the College President, Fr. Eduardo M. Santoyo, OMI, PhD, officially opened the program, which was followed by the presentation of candidates by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Raymond R. Delos Reyes, LPT, and acceptance by the college president. 
 
Furthermore, Mr. Rapih Jairi, RPh, MPA, CSASS, the Dean of Pharmacy and Medical Technology Program, together with Mr. Nurfaizier Jumdail, RPh, MSPharm, the Pharmacy Coordinator, took the honor in the imposition of the white coat, nameplate, and token to the candidates. 
 
The top 10 achievers in the mockboard examination were also recognized and awarded by the college president, accompanied by Alinn Al-Amin, RPh, review coordinator. The next step was the pledge, led by Fatima A. Bakil. Batch Signum Perseverentiae then sang together their batch song. 
 
Moreover, giving acknowledgment to the parents’ sacrifice and endless support was the highlight of the inspirational message of Mr. Rapih Jairi, RPh, MPA, CSASS, Dean of the Pharmacy and Medical Technology Program. 
The atmosphere overflowed with emotions of gratitude and triumph as the candidates gave their tokens of appreciation to their parents and guardians. Ultimately, an address of gratitude was delivered by Myrnaliza Hussin, and the program concluded with the singing of the pharmacy hymn.
