Suluhan comes back home with pride after winning two categories namely: Best Published Article (Unchain Your Wrist) 2nd place by Alnadzmer T. Sahid (Assoc. Editor) and Editorial Cartoon (Fourth Wall Break) 2nd place by Alkhadaff T. Julham (Layout Artist) -during the Organization of Student Services Educations, Inc. (OSSEI) National Training Workshop on Campus Journalism held at Crown Legacy, Baguio City on September 26-28, 2019.

    The representatives of Suluhan were Nadzrhea Jamaluddin- Editor-in-chief, Alnadzmer T. Sahid and Fatima Riesa A. Karay- Associate Editors and Fatima Marwa A. Fadzlulkarim- News Editor and the Suluhan moderator, Bro. Angelo Roberto T. Diana, OMI.

    Delegates from all over the Philippines attended the 3-day event. Schools like De La Salle University-Manila, Cagayan State University, Far-Eastern University-Manila, St. Mary’s University-Nueva Vizcaya, Bicol State University of Applied Sciences and Technology, Lyceum of the Philippines-Batangas, St. Paul University-Cagayan, Sulu State College Laboratory High School and more were present.

 Training and workshops about News Writing, Editorial Writing, Editorial Cartooning, Multimedia Production, Feature Writing, Page Design and Layout, and Photojournalism were discussed by Mr Malvin Gascon (PDI Northern Luzon), Mr Jose Torres, Jr. ( Bureau of Chief and Chief of Operations, UCAN News), Prof. Ariel E. Ponce ( Transitional Illustration Workshop), Mr Jimmy Domingo (Freelance Visual Journalist, Ms Torra Quismundo of ABS-CBN, Prof. Babsie M. Morabe of FEU and Mr Alex Corpuz of ABS-CBN, respectively.

    For the last day of the event, the Announcement of Evaluation Results occurred, although Suluhan was not present to receive the award, they did not went home empty handed instead they brought home the pride of Suluhan, NDJC and Sulu itself.
